JUNDU PRODUCTS NOW FEATURE
EPD CERTIFICATION
We are the first Brazilian company in the non-metallic minerals sector to achieve international environmental certification, the EPD®.
The EPD®, known in English as the Environmental Product Declaration, is granted based on the analysis of various environmental impact indicators, from the production stage (energy consumption, fuel, water, raw material transport), waste management, to the transport and disposal of the final product. The certification has been awarded to three distinct Jundu products: wet quartz sand, dry quartz sand, and ground silica. These products, widely used in various industries, now have an official validation of their environmental impacts throughout their life cycles.
Jundu products play a crucial role in a variety of sectors, including glass, chemical, construction, among others. The EPD® certification is particularly relevant in this context, as it provides a clear and reliable way to communicate essential sustainability information to customers and business partners.
With the achievement of this unprecedented certification for the segment, Jundu reaffirms its commitment to leading by example in the non-metallic minerals industry, promoting sustainable practices, and contributing to a better future.

Para cumprir esses objetivos foram estabelecidas metas a serem cumpridas até 2030, such as a diminuição de 33% das emissões líquidas de carbono no Escopo 1 e 2, e em 2050 atingir zero emissões líquidas de carbono.

- To meet these objectives, targets were established to be met by 2030, such as a reduction in CO2 emissions from operations,and by 2050 reaching neutrality of emissions.
