Ground Silica
Produced at the unit of Analândia (SP), ground silica is a product obtained from the processing of minerals rich in silicon dioxide (SiO₂), such as quartz.
At Jundu, ground silica is produced with a very high degree of purity (up to 99.9%), controlled particle size, and physicochemical stability, making it widely used in industrial formulations that demand high technical performance, such as in the ceramic and fiberglass industries.

Industrial Applications
Jundu's ground silica is used in various industrial sectors, most notably:
Glass Industry
Production of fiberglass.
Technical Ceramics and Refractories
Sintering aid and component of triaxial formulations.
Plastics, Rubber and Paints
Mineral filler for controlling thermal and mechanical properties.

Rigorous processes to meet the most demanding industries.
Jundu's ground silica is produced from quartz sand extracted from a rocky deposit, undergoing a rigorous beneficiation process that includes controlled drying and grinding.
This process allows obtaining a product with precise particle size, very high chemical purity and physicochemical stability, ideal for demanding industrial applications.
