Green Silicon Carbide
Produced from raw materials with a very high silica content and very low levels of metallic impurities, Green Silicon Carbide is used in applications that require high hardness, purity, and thermal stability.
The purity of Jundu sands contributes to uniform crystallization and an intense green color – a characteristic associated with the high content of the sand formed.
This type of carbide is widely used in specialty refractories, precision abrasives, optical lapping and polishing, as well as in technical ceramics applications.

Black Silicon Carbide
Black Silicon Carbide is obtained from materials with controlled siliceous and carbon composition, resulting in a product with high mechanical and thermal resistance, suitable for abrasives, refractories, and metallurgical applications.
Jundu mineral solutions have controlled standards for particle size and stable chemical content, essential factors for the efficiency of the melting process and crystal formation in electric furnaces.

Electronic Degree SiC
Electronic Grade SiC represents the highest level of purity and mineral control.
Used in the manufacture of semiconductors, power devices, and advanced electronic components, this material requires raw materials with superior purity and minimal levels of metallic and non-metallic contaminants.
Jundu is in the research and development phase of the Puresil Jundu line, a 100% Brazilian solution focused on the production of high-performance electronic SiC, contributing to technological self-sufficiency and reducing dependence on imports in this strategic segment.

Siltech Jundu: Innovation in Development
In line with Jundu's commitment to anticipating the needs of national industry, Siltech Jundu represents a Research & Development initiative focused on the silicon carbide (SiC) production segment.
The project aims to evaluate and improve high-purity, 100% Brazilian quartz raw materials that can contribute to making domestic production of SiC viable, which is currently entirely imported by the Brazilian market.
Although still in the study and technical validation phase, Siltech Jundu reflects the company's ongoing movement to investigate more suitable, consistent, and sustainable mineral solutions, strengthening the national productive ecosystem and supporting the technological advancement of high-performance sectors.
